In-Person Patient Support Meeting & Educational Event (Hybrid)

AAIDA partnered with Realo Specialty Pharmacy for an in-person (and virtual) patient support meeting and educational event. Patients receiving IVIG/SCIG and their caregivers are welcome to attend. Guest speakers were Realo’s specialty pharmacists Will Holland, PharmD and Brady Hecht, PharmD. Moderator for the evening will be AAIDA Medical Advisory Board Chair, Michael Rigas, PharmD.

Dr. Holland and Dr. Hecht will discuss the following:

• What IVIG/SCIG is, how it’s made and what conditions it’s used to treat 
• Co-pay and patient assistance programs available when starting IVIG/SCIG therapy for FDA-approved conditions as well as what “on-label” vs “off-label” uses mean
• Lifestyle and other factors involved when choosing the best possible treatment option with your physician (shared decision-making).

Will Holland, PharmD, is the Director of Sales and Business Development for Realo Specialty Care Pharmacy. He obtained his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and completed a residency with the UNC. He is an Immunoglobulin Certified Pharmacist with a strong passion to improve the lives of each of his patients

Brady Hecht, PharmD, is a UCONN school of pharmacy alumni who completed a residency in specialty pharmacy with the UNC. He has four years of experience at Realo Specialty Care Pharmacy working with patients receiving immunoglobulin therapy.

Following their 30 minute presentation, Drs Holland, Hecht and Rigas will conduct a live 30 minute Q&A session with in-person and online attendees
