AAIDA’s 3rd patient-focused educational event at Discovery Place Science in Charlotte, N.C from 5:30-9:00pm Originally planned for May 2020, AAIDA postponed our signature event to April 17th, 2021 due to Covid-19 pandemic.
AAIDA will host multiple speakers and various hands-on learning activities for children and adults alike!
Keynote Speaker for the evening, Michael Volz, MD, is a practicing Allergist & Immunologist in Denver C.O, past President of the Colorado Medical Society and currently sits on the House of Delegates for the American Medical Association (AMA). Dr. Volz has also served as President for the Colorado Allergy & Asthma Society and Medical Director for the American Association of Colorado Asthma Camps.

AAIDA is also excited to partner with Planet Improv for our family-focused extravaganza event! Scott Pacitti, Founder of Planet Improv, will be conducting two unique, hands-on learning experiences for adults and children of all ages. Participants will be taught skills on how to better manage and regulate their emotions while living with a chronic illness in a fun-filled way. Don’t miss out on this educational extravaganza!
