Kim Friers received her BSN in 2004 from Queens University and Presbyterian Nursing School. Kim has been affiliated with Novant Presbyterian since 2002 when she started nursing school. She knew that helping people was her passion. After receiving her RN degree, Kim gained the knowledge of compassion and advocacy that it takes to become an RN.
In late 2014, Kim decided to make a change in her career path. She made the decision to go to Advanced Home Care in Charlotte as their Infusion Coordinator, so that she could see a different side of nursing. This change in careers has allowed her to reach a greater level of need by being the advocate for the patient and decreasing anxiety that goes with doing home IV therapy.
As a nurse, Kim would love to be able to help guide anyone struggling with immune disorders and support the cause for patients living with immune dysregulation.
