Melissa Hegna-Wilson has a diverse background with pharmacy benefit managers, health plans, specialty pharmacy and home infusions; including over 25 years in leadership and operational oversight.  Melissa has managed several teams and created new health care strategies with C-suite leaders in various Health Plans and Hospital Systems. Melissa has worked with numerous private equity firms investing in infusion/specialty and has held a number of positions in the managed care space responsible for network development and management of new business and strategic partnership for Specialty providers.

In her recent position as Vice President of Payer Relations, she was responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the Health Plans regarding home infusion and specialty services including negotiation of contracts, new business ideas, strategy development, and growth in the market. Melissa was in charge of the build out of the Prime Specialty Pharmacy which opened August 1, 2012. This included the overall project, costs, hiring, facility build and procurement. Melissa has held various leadership roles with United Health Group, Prime Therapeutics, Coram HealthCare, Mayo Clinic and has consulted with several healthcare companies .  Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Concordia University.
