AAIDA was thrilled to have Teresa Tarrant, MD, FAAAAIof Duke University present our very first educational webinar on October 29th, 2019. Dr. Teresa Tarrant is a board certified Rheumatologist and Allergist/Immunologist who received her undergraduate degree at Dartmouth, her Medical Degree from the University of Florida and her Internal Medicine and subspecialty training at Duke University.
Dr. Tarrant is currently Vice Chief of Translational Research for Duke Rheumatology. Her research areas of interest are in new technologies for drug delivery in inflammatory arthritis, Paget’s disease of bone, Sjogren’s syndrome, and immunodeficiency disorders. Her talk will be on Common Variable Immunodeficiency – autoimmune and malignancy risks.
